Gridlock NY ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Gridlock NY youth sports community app, accessible at app.gridlockny.com ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our App.

By creating an account or using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

We collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored securely and encrypted).
• Profile Information: You may optionally provide a profile photo, sport preferences, and role (parent, coach, or player).
• Team Information: We collect information related to teams you create or join, including team names, sports, rosters, and schedules.
• Content You Share: We store posts, comments, photos, and videos you upload to team feeds or galleries.
• Messages: Private messages sent between users are stored securely in our database.
• Usage Data: We may collect non-personal usage data such as pages visited and features used to improve the App.

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account
• Enable team management, scheduling, and communication features
• Display your profile and content to your team members
• Send important notifications about your teams and games
• Improve and maintain the App
• Respond to support requests
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

• With Team Members: Your name, profile photo, and content you post are visible to members of teams you belong to.
• With Coaches and Administrators: Team coaches and app administrators may access team rosters and member information to manage teams.
• Service Providers: We use Supabase (supabase.com) to store and manage your data securely. Supabase acts as our data processor and is bound by strict data protection agreements.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

Your data is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure, which uses industry-standard encryption for data in transit (SSL/TLS) and at rest. We implement row-level security policies to ensure users can only access data they are authorized to view.

While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Gridlock NY is a youth sports platform designed for use by families. Players under the age of 13 must have a parent or guardian create and manage their account. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information without consent, please contact us at info@gridlockny.com and we will delete that information promptly.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Update or correct your account information at any time through your profile settings
• Request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at info@gridlockny.com
• Opt out of non-essential communications

Photos and videos you upload to the App are stored in our secure cloud storage. Media shared in team feeds is visible to team members only. You retain ownership of any content you upload. By uploading content, you grant Gridlock NY a limited license to display that content within the App.

You may sign in using your Google account. In this case, Google shares your name, email address, and profile picture with us. We do not receive your Google password. Your use of Google Sign-In is also subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy in the App and updating the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
